Win a $25.00 gift certificate

Hey guys, wanna chance to win an online $25.00 gift certificate to either Barnes and Noble or Amazon? All you have to do to be entered in the drawing is to watch this widget created by our very own Grand Central author Jane Graves. She's started a widget making business. Visit her website @ widgetwise.com. She's so creative she can even track the number of times the widget gets passed around. So grab it for a chance to win big!

Just post here that you snagged it and passed it on through email to your family and friends or you posted it on your own blog or you put it on your myspace or facebook page or you downloaded to your own desktop. There's all kinds of places where you can share it. I'll give you guys a week and then on September 1, I'll have a drawing from everyone who participated. Thanks so much!

I still have to upload the page because I'm updating it with other things besides this, but it will be up on my website in a minute or two (I'm posting this on the 24th) -- home.comcast.net/~loismerritt1013

I have downloaded this to my facebook page my 2 myspace pages. I've had the pleasure of reading this book thanks to Lori and it is fabulous.

A romance writer who can also make widgets?

Way to go, Jane.

And thanks for the fun post, Lori. I put it on my Myspace page, but don't enter me in the drawing. I just thought it was supercool. Plus, I want to kiss up to Jane so that she'll make me a widget some day.

Cheers!

I copied and pasted the url of the widget and sent an e-mail to 10 friends. Is this the correct thing to do? Thanks.

Jane, this is so awesome! What a great idea. (Will you teach a seminar at RWA on widget making??? Please—pretty please!)

I added the widget to my blog Talk About My Favorite Authors. I love it and I've had such a fun time looking through Jane's widget website.

I went to the widget site and used the form there to email 53 friends. I stopped there because at this time I'm not sure if I did it right. It said for multiple addresses to use a comma which I did in between the email addresses, but when I hit the send button it seemed to go through awfully fast for 53 email addresses. I've got more people I can send the widget off to but will wait a while to see if I can determine if my friends really did get it or not. I'm not going to do each person individually, that would take too much time.

Hey Lori! I posted the very cool widget on my facebook, myspace, blog, desktop, aol, yahoo, and mailed it to pretty much everyone I have ever met! I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Hey Lori,

Okay, downloaded and successfully sent it out to all my friends and contacts with a steller review since I've had the good fortune to read an advance copy! Btw, I've already received replies from about 15 friends (from various book clubs I'm in) who pre-ordered with amazon.com! Can't wait to see it on the best seller list.

I snagged and sent it to several friends including my neighbor. I don't have a web page or anything to post it on but maybe some of my friends do.
